Mimi is a Dutch artist living in the Caribbean. Her colorful art is inspired by music, nature and everyday life. She’s been living across the globe, from Mexico to Rwanda, from Congo to St. Lucia, and lost her heart to all the different cultures. This is reflected into her work. She believes that a painting you love can bring a little bit of magic into the room. Making art, living the adventures life and being a mom of 3 brings her joy and happiness.

The colors of this artwork are phenomenal, and these artworks are created in the style of Matisse. The expressions of the women faces are soft yet strong. In fact, two characteristics that are opposed to each other but are the perfect balance, don’t you think?

We framed these artworks in an extraordinary way. If you look closely you'll see that the drawing is kind of 'floating' in the frame. Also the sides of the frame are painted in the same colour as the passe-partout. That makes it a real piece of art.
